This policy explains how FarsiWithMaryam handles personal data for our website, scheduling, payments, and lessons. It’s an informational template—please consult counsel for legal advice.

Data We Collect

  • Parent contact: name, email, (optional) phone, time preferences.
  • About the child (optional/minimal): first name/nickname, approximate age/grade, language level, interests. No child accounts.
  • Technical & cookies: only essential cookies. No non‑essential analytics at this time.
  • Payments: via Stripe; card details remain with Stripe.
  • Performing the service/contract (bookings, lessons, receipts).
  • Consent (e.g., recordings, optional comms).
  • Legitimate interests (quality, security, abuse prevention).

Sharing & Processors

  • Calendly (scheduling), Zoom (classes), Stripe (payments), email service provider.

We don’t sell personal data or share it for cross‑context behavioral ads.

Children (COPPA/GDPR‑K)

Parent consent is required. No recording without separate consent. You may request access/deletion regarding the child’s data.

International Transfers

Data may be processed in the US or other countries; we use appropriate safeguards.

Retention

  • Customer records: duration of the relationship + up to 24 months.
  • Billing/tax records: up to 7 years or as required by law.

We apply reasonable measures but cannot guarantee absolute security.
